Hello, I'm new to the forum, and just picked up a 1994 (manufactured 8/'93) Golf 1.9TD. Runs solid and has a solid body and chassis, except for the darn rear hatch. Loving the fuel economy I get out of it!
Anyway, sorry if this is a dumb question, but all the Bentley manuals I can find to order seem to "avoid" this model with this engine, or as far as I can tell with the covers of them. For MK3 it claims to cover 1.9 TDI, 2.0L and VR6. I know the 1.9TD is somewhat related to the TDI, but does that manual cover the specifics of the IDI engine as well? I'll probably end up getting it anyway to be honest, just for the rest of the car, but I was wondering if anyonw with a 1.9 IDI engine has had experience with which one is best.
