PTL It's a MIRACLE!  The Merz lines work fine.  Same thread/fitting at both delivery valve and injector.  Same length.  Same diameter.  BTDT.  I recommended them because they are cheap, readily available and less bent up than most other lines.

Is it safe to assume that you are re-bending the MB hard lines to work with the VW pump?

Yes.  I only said those because there isn't a set of stock lines that fits.

I thought you were just being a butt hole, I wonder if it is a common flare that we could just totally make our own

im not 100% sure but i think you can get bendable lines..like they used to have lines we could bend in the fuel lab at my old engine shop...maybe try someone like schied?
they are probably" test" lines for fuel labs or somethin...or else ya gotta go custom...ive seen dodge boys with custom lines so where do they get em?
make them equal length tho i know that much...its not the greatest to bend stockers, but hey sometimes ya gotta do it. ..from what i understand when ya bend em,plating can flake off inside the line and plug your injectors...but ive got bent lines on sootyvag for forever..a little bending is ok probably, but doin loop the loop isnt cool
Throttle cables ftw

I've cut up quite a few stock lines and have never come across anything resembling plating inside the lines.
