Does it still have the sequential blinkers. Is yours a 289?

All original sequential system, fully operational. :D If it were factory it would be a 289, 3 on the floor. I dunno if the picture conveys it, but those big fender flares on the back hide a near 12" drag radial.

It is probably the furthest thing from a numbers car.. LOL The drive train is pretty much an entire setup from an '87 F150, including the AOD 4 speed auto. It is a 5.0L H.O, forged internal, roller motor with the best OEM heads on the market available in the 80's, ET7E to be exact ;). The beast breathes through a 650 Holley Quad, down in to a Edelbrock Performer RPM, out through some big primary long tube headers, and finally dumps from some cherry bombs before the rear axle, which I am to believe is a 3.00 or a 3.50.. ??

It runs a stock ignition system, so I guess that should be my next upgrade.. although it doesn't really give any trouble.

I wish my Volkswagen had this clean of a setup! lol

Unhooked from the fuel line, its in winter storage. So I drain the tank and lines. Also why the battery cables are undone lol.

She smokes a little bit right after a cold start, but not a stumble to be heard.

This blue spot is the cars only flaw...

Came with chains!! COOL. Didn't need them, even when we got dumped on by 16" of thick snow. This thing walked through it

Because I had these on it ;) hjaha

If that blue spot is spray paint, it will come off and not hurt a factory finish underneath. I will let you know if you are interested. If there is something under it that they were covering then it is a different story.

1500 wet paper might do the trick, Jeremy.
I would me inclined to use some polishing or rubbing compound first.

I would try oven cleaner before sanding. There's a good chance you can get the blue off without hurting the clear at all. Just apply and scrub off every 10 minutes until it's gone. Should take two or three applications.

I really would just start with an ordinary polishing compound and powered polisher with a foam wheel.  It'll either get really shiny or just come right off.  You can do the rest of the car while you're at it! ;)
