Looking sweet - are the intake mods needed due to space issues or to improve flow?
I am rebuilding a 1.9 for a Vanagon (adding an IC as well) and the stock intake looks like it wouldn't flow too well.

Keep up the good work.

The standard stuff fits fine! This is my AAZ powered 99 3dr vitara (sidekick/tracker).

How's your transmission holding up?

Looks great!
Is it running? If so, what are your EGT numbers at WOT?

The input shaft bearing gets louder every week it seems.  Previous owner drove it from 2004 to 2012 and replaced the trans once with a used one.  I'm not sure how guys running tdis and the suzuki trans get them to last.

VERY CAREFULLY...

actually, i bet most of them are using the aisin-warner trannies out of toyotas.. its a popular swap.

its no secret that the kick/track/sammi trannies are built from tooth picks...

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
