I have been using this pump in my 86 Golf for a few years and it is in pristine shape. Only standard diesel with Standyne diesel additive added has ever been used with this pump. No further modifications have ever been done to this pump after Giles did his magic!! I am putting a 1.6 TD in my car this weekend, so I no longer need this pump. I need to raise money for a TD pump from Giles!!!
Giles is selling these for $750 plus $250 for a core charge and shipping extra. I will sell my pump for $550 plus actual shipping charges (no core charge needed) The pump is still installed on my old engine, with all outlets covered. Upon sale I will drain the pump as well as possible and wrap several times in plastic bags.
