Nice. I'm thinking about a tiny (0.5gph) nozzle pre-turbo, then a 4 or 5 at the manifold. I'll be getting my nozzles and mounts from Devil's... I got the pump and computer used on Ebay. ;)

Why a nozzle pre-turbo? They only produce alot of moisture in the intercooler. Especially if you have highly placed inlet/outlets on the IC.

usually when you shoot meth to the INLET of a turbo, its because you are not running an intercooler..

if you have an intercooler, then shoot the meth in the intake stream AFTER it. it doesnt matter if its only 1" after it, but you gotta go after the cooler. otherwise the meth will condense in the intercooler, and un-mix with the air.

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Ok. I will build a controller with cables and a wastegate can etc in the near future.

I think with a 12 mm head I have enought exhaust/heat to spool even a VNT20 with vanes almost fully open. But I´ll try a controller first
and the go for a bigger vnt.

Thanks for the input  ;)

i dont mean to be a debbie downer, but that GT18 vnt you got, is relatively small compared to a VNT20.. if you can make 26psi with the vanes open, then its a LITTLE turbo. its closer in size to a VNT15 than a VNT20..

i have a VNT20, and it plain WONT SPOOL with the vanes open.. you need LOTS of heat and air to spool a VNT20 with the vanes open.

ive got a 9mm pump cranked up basically as high as it will go, so i have plenty of fueling.. and when my vane controller came off the vane linkage, and stuck them open, i thought i had cracked the manifold. the turbo was LOUD, smokey, and didnt even make a hint of turbine sound.

Well, since it´s called GT18 it should be bigger than a VNT17  ;D And a 12mm rotor puts out atleast 100% (if not more) more fuel than a 9mm one.

But this is the first vnt I´ve tried. But surely not the last.

12mm pump is HUGE on a VW diesel..

hope you got a pyrometer, and enough boost to burn all that fuel..

why do you feel the need to run a 12mm pump? there aint many people on the forum running one that big. they are usually reserved for the hottest of hotrod engines.. i wouldnt even consider running that on an engine that wasnt fully modified in basically every aspect..

I got egt gauge, water/meth injection, .216 bio nozzles etc.

The injection quantity of the 12 mm head made it pretty easy getting a really great working ip for a mtdi build. As I mentioned before I have lots of black smoke even at 30 psi so the fuel supply will never be a problem. Keeping the engine/turbo in one piece will be though  ;D
