WTB: good K24 core and 02A 0.717 5th
« on: June 08, 2012, 09:40:11 pm »
Okay, so I am 99.9 sure the post system has eaten my K24 core.  I am moving onto my contingency plan of finding another good core.  As long as it's a good rebuildable core then I'll take it.

Next part; got a 02A trans, but 0.837 w 3.684 R&P is a little high for my tastes.  I am looking for a good used set of 0.717 gears.  Hopefully some TDI guys could help me out on that part.

Well, that's it.  Oh, and to whoever I got the turbo from, sorry lost it.  :(

In about 5 months that turbo will show up at your door when you don't want or need it anymore.

I still have that 5th set that is a bit lower than what you want .756

Yeah, don't remind me.  I'm really mad about it being lost in the mail, since this brings my build to a grinding halt until a substitute can be found.

And I might have found a 0.717 set, so hang on . . .

should have insured that...
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.
