I de-attached the CIS fuel distributor from the air flow sensor housing, kept the sensor connected and functional to
eliminate any chance for limp mode.
You could find a broken timing belt cover and cut out parts that your RPM signal is sticking out. That way at least you would have a cover over the rest of it.
Also I thought it wasn't an eco pump as I thought they had the fast idle and I don't see that on yours.
That CIS fuel distributor is going to be a restriction I bet.
This is taking us places we have not dared to venture before.
