Yeah, keep it in mind.  Now that the rear end problem is solved I find the front a bit soft.  I put regular struts on it and should have gone the stiffer sport models.  Live and learn.

Thanks TheMan53.  Have to save up at nearly 2 a pop on them.

There are cheaper sites I think, that just has the numbers right there with no questions.

well installed they are... damb insominia... took the kub for a quicky test drive.. set at 180* from softest setting.. not bad.. much better then the crap new cofaps that came with it... only 10,900 miles i rode with them...

my 10 min test drive thoughts...

koni yellow adjustables... not as stiff as bilstines.. can compress the koni by hand.. bilstines require solid surface and 2 hands to compress.. can do these in hand with no surface.

does not hit near as hard on the "speed bump" on the 45mph road... aka joint that is balloned up..

you can really feel how stiff the back is now... 500lbs in back = nice ride.. empty it hurts.. need to think of resolution for that now..

tomarrow ill go play on the twisties and see what 360* is like.. gotta go pick up the 85 blue kub today for cali guy who purchased it..

well twisties were fun today... not bad.. still not a pro gas... but 1000x better then what ive been using for the past ~10,900 miles...

now new delema.. rear.. LOL.. pull a leaf and add air shocks?? do custom rear link set up with bags?? need to call up mf auto in tenn and see what they did with the "custom" rear suspention they made then removed for custom conversion #2.. now that the front rides so nice.. wanna do the rear...

Do you think the big aluminum box adds a different handling factor than say a rabbit? What do you think they would do in a rabbit or jetta?

On the rear I think you are on the right track with the air setups. They handle the weight that you haul and have adjustability.

wheel base is rabbit/jetta.. but its got leafs by grumman which are stiffer then caddy, but caddy is also longer wheel base so may be why it feels stiffer..

they built it to carry 1k# and when it has 500# or so it feels nice.. just empty it trys to bounce vs compress..

no reason why it cannot drive like a mk1... being aluminum its not that top heavy..

ill have to reach out to mf auto.. google them.. look at their project cars.. you will see their rhd lowfloor kubvan.. even pics of the 4link air ride  they just added to it..
