Selling off some of my collection of random parts-
I have for sale a 5-speed out of an 81 caddy diesel, and a 5-speed out of an 85 golf diesel.
Price on the MK1 5-speed is 100 bucks. You will get with this the axles, shifter, ect, even the radiator from that car if you are interested for the same price. part number that I could read was 01061, but it was a little obscured. This was out of a death trap car that I actually drove, I can personally say that 1,2 and R worked, and the PO says it was fine up to 5, but I never took it over second gear moving it around. (I was after the engine)
Price on the MK2 5-speed is 50 bucks. This is a transmission that I have no idea if it works or not, but I can say it was out of an extremely well maintained, but extremely high mileage golf, like 490K on it, no joke. The golf had 4 matching good tires, was well maintained, and the engine even had the correct coolant in it, but I never got it started. Part number on this gearbox is ACH 16114. This does NOT come with the shifter and axles, im keeping those as spares for my 86, no offense.
Both transmissions are still attached to motors, extra parts we can discuss. Id be willing to ship and give you a quote, but local pickup is way easier. These are located in providence RI. Please PM me if you are interested in some of these goodies.
