Clutch
« on: May 05, 2012, 04:36:07 pm »
Anybody here ever run a clutch from Vato Zone Ahem I mena Auto Zone? My clutch is looking a little tired and is oil soaked from a leaking rear main. Vato Zone has the kit for 75 buck where parts place wants 50 just for the disk. The pressure plate and flywheel looked oaky.

http://www.autopartsway.com/PartList.cfm?Volkswagen/1985/Jetta/Base/1.6L_L4/allB/Transmission_and_Transaxle_-_Manual/Manual_Transmission_Components/Clutch_Kit/pagenum1/tabS

Everything you need, for $96. Very good quality. My last 5 vw clutches have been through this website, I recommend them 100%.

When I saw the title I kept thinking   10001110101   google clutch with those numbers and you'll understand... temple of the syrinx having the bake sale of the year...

I have had a Luk clutch set in my vw for 10,000 miles. I have had a Luk clutch in my 3/4 ton Chevy since 1998 and it still holds like day 1. I paid around 120.00 IIRC for my Luk set in the jetta. It was for a 96 aaz as I have that PP installed now, so it is the 210mm

The eco should be 200mm? No? I have never used the us part of the site.. But they have the same stuff as the Canadian site.
