Cashier did not know the per foot deal, should have upped the quantity to 25 @ 1.50 to get the right price.  Made a steal on that one.  No pun intended.

A steal indeed!!  That happened with the last 2 rolls of NiCop I bought at the local Carquest..  I came clean with them on the mess up though, they treat me pretty good...

dang, you would think they would be a little weirded out at 25 foot of ANYTHING being $1.50, you cant hardly buy ANYTHING for $1.50, surprised dollar stores are still in business

I had a weird reverse to this situation at Home Depot.  I need a 10 foot section of galvanized pipe cut into three equal pieces and threads on both ends.  When I held up the label for the scanner it registered the 17 dollar price but the lady entered 3 for the quantity and I was charged 50 plus bucks.  I had a bunch of other stuff in the cart and only thought about it as I was loading the car.  I pulled out the receipt, looked at it and reached down for the pipes and walked back into the store.  The guy who did the refund laughed about it but I didn't.  He says, good catch,  he knows we don't really watch the ring up and are not bothered with 230.00 on the card. 
That is a cheap run to HD sometimes.
