fair enough. good luck with the chevy. i owned a few cavaliers and it was one problem after the next. going to the 1.6L TD engine has been a walk in the park by comparison. hopefully GM has sorted out the issues with the new cavaliers, i don't know much about them but it must feel nice to be in a brand new car after dealing with that headache!
Yes, for transportation. As in, to get one home from Canada. I'd suspect that weight would be the issue - closing the trunk wouldn't be necessary. However, I really don't have the money for this, this is just an idea I'm tossing around for fun.BTW, VW Motorsport already did the whole "two running engines (1.8L 8V gassers), one of them in the trunk" trick on a Jetta (the Twin-Jet) and a Scirocco (the Bimotor Scirocco), and then some nutcase that lives in Cincinatti did the Durocco, another twin-engined Mk2 (A1, of course) 'rocco.
