Front Motor Mount Bracket

Why are these brackets different? How would the one with the threads at the top even work?

its a older design.. upper starter bolt threads into it vs the coolent pipe...

Well yeah I get that... But what holds the bottom hole? The bottom just rattles about? Do you need to put a nut on the bottom starter bolt?

yup..

theres actually 4! bracket types..

theres another one that has the nuts on the top and bottom of the bracket.

and then theres another one with NO nuts on it..

you use nuts to hold bolts in them..

That is dumb. Oh well I guess I will clean and prime the one that doesn't force me to use nuts.
