^ that. My wife is all on my case about getting rid of the a/c, me personally i dont need it. I perfer not having it, but her excuse is that when the children are in the car and its 100 degrees out we will need it, which really is not the case considering our last trip to H2o in this car the a/c wasnt charged. so didnt have it any way. But seriously my car is not the family car, its my toy to drive to work.

when i said the kkk stuff isn't as good with high boost pressures, i meant the larger turbos like the audi one picture, i've personally ran a k24 up to 25-30psi. but i've never seen a compressor map for that turbo to say how good is it at that boost pressure. the garrett stuff is better imo, not to mention cheaper with better parts availability, better aftermarket, and more interchangeable stuff.
also i have done the rain tray ac before haha, when we left for the beach i filled my rain tray with ice but then it ran inside my car and on my gf's feet so i scooped it out, if u can do it with out ur car leaking it probably works pretty well.

Nice! i'll have to make sure there is no leaks.
And with the turbos, you are right. I've seen a heck lot of garretts than anyother turbos. Its tough finding KKKs, for vw/audi's anyways.
Next question is off topic a little i got a pump way back when i bought the car. He said it came off of a TD. But i was curious to which ones?
Heres pictures

What's that weird vacuum diaphragm w/ the red port plug on it? I have never seen that before. What does it link up to? My initial impression is that it is some kind of emissions equipment for cold start-up.

OK so next question. Clutch. I need to upgrade and im have a little trouble with information im gathering. So its a 1.6n/a transmission from a 91 jetta. Now i "believe" its a AVX trans code. I dont know if thats small spline or big spline. I'm guess the easiest thing to do is upgrade to a 210mm clutch kit, whick then would require a 210mm flywheel. Now im not going to spend the money for a lightweight FW to make another 2hp. But I'm wondering 1. what my spline is?, 2. whats a good kit? 3. Can i just buy a stock clutch kit, how well do they hold up.
I'm sorry.I know this has been covered many times, but alot of the info i come across conflict eachother.

Should be small spline stock clutch sucks and I'd probably get the bfi lw flywheel kit comes with everything you need at a good price. Can't say how good it is tho since I've never had one
