Without the piston cooling nozzles, your going to have to be careful with it.Keep the EGT's well on the safe side,as the pistons aren't oil cooled like a true TD motor.

What have your done to your Dodge ? I have a 97 12V that currently puts out 550 HP.More mods this year will get me well into the 600's,and hopefully into the mid 12's at the track.

As For now I' running a 3200 gov spring. Smoke screw tweaked, and full power screw tweaked. Soon I will have a smaller turbine housing, and Injectors. I'm thinking of water and meth injection. I've got the VE pump like in the VW's not the P pump that you have. Its not as easy to get power out of the ve.

The POD injectors would be a nice addition, and then you may not need the smaller housing. It will spool better, and help keep EGT's in check.

Is your truck auto or stick ? A good convertor is like adding 100 HP with these trucks.Dodge uses a gas TC behind the Cummins, and it stalls too high, way above the torque peak, especially when you turn up the power.Adding a shift kit or valve body will help the trans hold the power too.

I have 370 injectors,a Piers stoopid race pump,a custom made cam plate,4 inch exhaust, and a BHAF.Timing bumped to 17 degrees. With the stock trans,I've run a best of 13.24,blowing right through the convertor and slipping the trans the whole way.I just built myself a DTT auto with custom ATS low stall convertor, and it really hooks now.I hope to break into the mid 12's this year,if I can keep the EGT's in check.Looks like twins will be my next project. :D

Ya, I've got the auto. Its only got 200k on it so it should be good for a little while. I will do a TC in a bit, but I'm happy with it where it is now. Once i start with the mods again the TC will be first on my list. I'd like to get the VW going, the mpgs in the dodge arnt that great.
