having trouble locating a 1.9 IDI intake manifold for my 1.9/1.6 engine combo project. I have been looking on ebay and have found lots of nice looking intake manifolds many of which appear to be designed to flow quite a bit of air. Anyone tried any other type of intake manifold on a 1.9 head (considering I am planning on using a KKK turbo)? Would a 1.9 TDI intake manifold work? An Audi manifold of some sort? The 1.8T intake looks like it is built for some serious airflow and they are dirt cheap on ebay but they appear to have the connection at the wrong side. Anyone ever tried using one of them on a 1.9 diesel?

Same D ports as TDI/AAZ but long runners looks like a petrol manifold but exits to the left.

Interesting. I guess if I did that I could plumb the intercooler out the side and then route it back up to the turbo. Wonder if that manifold would fit under the hood though?
