will it bolt in? will the throttle cable work? reason being the vacuum diaphragm for the cruise on a passat is part of the cluster attached to the gas pedal inside the passenger compartment in turn reducing the likelyhood of failure of the vacuum diaphragm that is under the hood(from heat and what not)also because mine has a hole in it anyway so it needs replaced. also removing some of the clutter around the ip with the removal of the oe mk2 cruise diaphragm linkage and bracket. make sense??
id just add the vac ball to the throttle pedal.. but since i have used a mk2 clutch/brake set up in my b3... with b3 gas still in it.. yea it will fit/work..
does it have to be from a diesel or will a gas one work as well.
these manual pedal clusters aren't for hydraulic clutches are they?
as far as i know gas is hydro.. and the diesel is cable.. but all you need to do is add the passat throttle

read as:
it will be MUCH easier to just swap out the passat gas pedal, rather than the whole pedal assembly..
