woah, the ebay kit is 20 bucks.. kinda hard to mess around finding parts to do it, when the whole kit is 20 bucks..

I've had ol' Rattle & Haul now for 6 years and we've had some fun smokin the Honduhs locally. First to go was the tired old 1.6TD to be replaced by a bored, balanced, ported AAZ with a T3 turbo (22 psi), Giles pump and BIG exhaust. Last year we stripped the body down to bare metal and refinished it completely. Maybe this winter an 02A. Will these projects ever end?
Enjoy.

Thanks man. I spent 2 weeks in Oregon and Washington last month, but no Caddy. I had to rock a new Jetta 5 cylinder with a 6-speed. Nice, but no Caddy   ;D

My truck is stock underneath with the exception of KYB gas shocks and a Scirocco "K" Brace. These trucks came on 13" wheels and I added the 14" Mk 2 rims and 185-65x14 Michelin tires. I hope this helps.

Can't believe I forgot seeing this over at the 152.  Still going strong obviously?  Keep killing those Hondas; hopefully I'll be doing the same before the year's out.

Any I agree with you that the 5 cyl is nice; makes a noise reminiscent of the 80's Audis (for obvious reasons), just wish it's power band woke it up a little lower than the ~2800 it seems to start to REALLY pull at.  Now if we could only get the newer 2.5 TD's . . .

you drive the 150hp 2.5, or the later model 170hp version? the 150hp engine was a belt timed engine, the 170hp is chain timed.

the one i have access to, is the 170hp version.. it will roast the tires on dry pavement from a dead stop, just mash the throttle.

sounds JUST LIKE an older Audi.. thats my FAVORITE part.. usually, when im driving the car in town, its in manual mode (engine braking, stop n go, whatever) but the freeway gets full automatic..

damn the injectors are NOISY tho..

still needs the ECU re-flashed to de-activate SAI.. damn, the 2.5s have the noisiest SAI i have ever heard..
