1.6 anroid pin part number?

anyone know hte part number and how much it would be if i got it from vw?  or am i better off getting a wreaked 1.6td and ripping it.

also, if i remember right i heard that the 1.6turbo is better than the stock 1.9 turbo? should i be looking for a 1.6 turbo?
