yup..

or you can hold the down pipe on the manifold, and pull it towards the drivers side, hook up that clip, then push it over towards the passenger side and hook up that clip..

or just get a dual outlet manifold and downpipe, and never deal with clips ever again.. lol.

there are many ways to skin a kat tho...

I keep that 2.5 inch muffler clamp in the tool box for the one time a year I might have to pull those clamps off for an adjustment.  Works to take them off better than a screwdriver too.

I bought the proper tool. It's super. Much better than dealing with 6 old rusty bolts on the 4:2:1 manifolds.

hey i like the hillfolk muffler clamp thats socks on a rooster right there!!
yea i got the hooked threaded tool its great, otherwise those things are so hateful.ive swapped manifolds to escape them before...
they also make some kind of 3 piece wedge tool also..run from that sucker its scary...yea i dig the clamp tho and way cheaper than the threaded hook tool.
Throttle cables ftw

If you have a hook shaped prybar tool and enough room you can install the c clamp by pulling down on it and over. To get them off I did what ROR did and slide it side to side. If you have a hoist and can get under it *strong fingers required* I have pulled them off as well
