My 1.6 decided to put all its EDIT oil on the ground EDIT It still has oil, but no coolant and looks like the oil level is 2x too high...today 5 miles from home. Picks to follow. I will not be having a happy 12 hours and running story though

I just got it off the tow truck and changed clothes and was able to poke around. . . It may not be permanant death, I have no coolant but the dip stick shows way too much oil. Fingers crossed it is just the HG and not the head. I have a MLS head gasket which I didn't think poped, especially with studs. I will take it apart tonight and tomorrow maybe and find out what is going on.

Wish I had gotten this notice a bit earlier. I was rear ended today in my mom's mk1 Jetta Diesel. Technically the car's a write-off but what insurance doesn't know...

I just got home from the daughters Christmas program. I have had a chance to let this settle, as before I wanted to throw up, now I am very mad. One, the car. But more than that going to the Christmas program and it not having any Christmas in it...and having to think about the car the entire time.
It is one of those deals that if I would go down and tear into it I may start breaking things as I am more mad than I have been in a long while. I think I will try to sleep and do it tomorrow.

But now we are all free to drive risk free as there have been three events in the cycle. two engines and one car.
Not sure about ECS Tuning. Might have to call and see if it is stock or they will be drop shipping it from someplace close. I always had to wait on my orders from them. So something tells me no, not in stock. But they have the number, use it.

id rather get date raped at the county jail then buy anything from ecs... at least i may get a reach around vs their shipping charge of 5x the value of part getting shipped.. you got athens issues.. i have ecs issues...
330-372-4835 is bob in warren.. try calling him after 4:30 wed-thur.. he only open mon-thrus.. 4ish till 8ish..
else euclid foreighn motors in euclid ohio.. they a parts warehouse.. they also fix cars.. so may be able to sell you part via phone..
if all else fails.. ring me up tomarrow and ill see if i can get one shipped to your door...
