I bought two sets of these for the rabbit and golf and so far have installed them on the rabbit and like it.

They look good but they're stiffer than I thought they would be but they're holding up in the cold pretty good.

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

one flaw... most require drilling and adding screws to the wheel arch... this promotes rust when mud is around.. so you need to find the silly c clips to hold them on... its like a big plastic c with a plastic bolt to hold it in place.. with never poking a hole thru themetal..

I remember the ones with the clips falling off my old Honda civic.
 Shortly after installation.

There isn't much to hold mudflaps on the front, I built an extra stainless bracket to support the home made ones on mine.

Hmmm I'm not sure I follow you about the c clips your talking about. But living In a moist environment like Virginia who also likes salt in the winter I'd rather not drill any more holes then I had to.

Do you have a picture of these installed?
