yea i am here too. so far the electronic controlled nightmare has been running fine for a while. bit it has its ***ty days now and then :evil: . i dont drive it much, it does some strange things sometimes :shock: . and has left me stranded too. oh well its modern technology at its best.

the electronic gremlins are rearing their ugly face.  I love the simplicity of the mechanical diesels.  That's why I'm building a mechanical pump tdi.  I rather give up a few mpg for reliabiltiy, a 12mm pump will give all the performance and then some of a electronic pump tdi

if i had the time and $ i would be doing the same.  nothing wrong with the good ol mechanical pump. best of luck and have fun, keep us posted. :wink:
