  Do they fit perfectly? I am getting a set of Mk4's for free, but because i'm crazy and like to have my cars looking as OEM as possible, i'd like to find an original set

• vr6 5x100 steel on mk3.... did not exist.. they were buy options for passats.. but stock was aluminum.. so.. yea mk4 on mk3.. non issue..

• well they weren't many, but they do exist 1H0 601 025H. and I do remember seeing them, otherwise  I wouldn't have asked. BUT maybe I should look for B4 passat ones

• ive seen them as buy option.. aka buy from stealership for snows back in 94 for guys vr6 passat... they were holy like mk4 spares.. so i really expect them to be close to same.. but sadly mk3/b4 all had donut spares.. so.. not even in those trunks..
  
  gti/glx would be aluminum who wants steel on the boy race car...... so only vr6 passat would be 5x100 but even then.. vr6 was the "sport" of the passat line.. yea tons of 2.slow and tdi with steel.. but a vr6.. rair option..
  
  mk4 all was 5x100.. so steel and aluminum is the norm.. and they went back to full sized spares.. so id say 95% had steel spare.. very few would spend extra $ for aluminum matched..
  
  o IMO just check the et of the mk. comapir to the et of yours and go from there...
