1.6 NA and 1.9 TD.. few questions.

Alright.. So, I think I'm just going to swap over the turbo and pump for now. Try it.
That way I can just remove the head, then the body, then the trans.. or else just get a hoist. I like to replace all the gaskets in the head anyways.

I bought an EGT gauge, anyone know the best place to install the probe?

You can rent a hoist from quite a few places here in town.  Won't cost you much.  If you need one more than 5 or 6 times you might as well just buy one but if you're only doing it a couple of times then the rental route is perfect (plus you don't have to store the damn thing!)

Sweet. I actually picked up a mk2 Golf today cause I love them! Going to keep my 1.6 NA and I'm going to put the 1.9 TD into it! Stoked.
