As in coilovers (threaded sleeve adjustable suspension) or just as in springs?

anyone know if you can lift a mk1 with mk2 springs?
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

90% sure no mk2-1 interchangability.. However, mk4 springs are the same part number all the way back to corrado.. some springs have different paint marks and yield different heights, but just sayin, corrado part number through mk4..
