you ever had an intake up in the cowl like that? there not that loud at all.. maybe if your truck was 100% stock and quiet, then a cowl would be noisey.. but my black rabbit had a cowl air filter, and you could hear the turbo sucking air at idle (kinda sounded sweet) but once you got going, you just heard the noise from the engine..

trust me, its not that loud setting it up like that..

$10k is a bit on the steep side..
