Rod and Main Bearing Torque for a PD130 BEW Engine?
« on: June 11, 2011, 10:57:11 pm »
Hi,
I tried the search engine, nada. Could somebody please chime in with the torque specs for the main and rod bearings on a 2004 Jetta, PD130 BEW engine?
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

I checked my Bentley and there is nothing in there. Unfortunately the later model years manuals are pretty poor compared to the Mk1-Mk3's. BTW, the BEW is a pd100 engine.

Connecting rod bolt    30 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further

Crankshaft bearing cap bolts    65 Nm + 1/4 turn (90°) further
