Mmmm...new parts for the Caddy
« on: July 21, 2004, 03:45:17 pm »
I got about $200 in new parts today for the Caddy's re-assembly.

Things seem to be going smoothly...provided I find some time:

That's the 210mm clutch setup...hopefully it should hold pretty well.

push rod tube seal

Did you get a push rod tube seal to go with that clutch?
Most of the clutches I've seen went bad because the push rod tube seal leaked trany fluid directly onto the clutch disc.
I don't change a clutch without a new push rod tube seal ...front trany and rear engine seal as well.

I believe so...there's something in there I have to identify.

Besides, almost all of the engine seals are getting replaced as well as some tranny seals that are ready to get the attention.
