Being that these engines could have been opened and a rod swapped from another engine, it is possible for it to be OK and that short. I did something similar when I replaced the #3 rod and it sticks up much higher than the other 3 do. I guess it is a possibility that it is bent but only being bent .5mm seems unlikely, possible I guess. I would be kind of worried about that side to side wobble.
