What are those rims called? I think they would look great on my '85 Golf.

If you can still get snowflakes new I'd be surprised and they would cost a small fortune at the dealer. Best place to get those is the junkyard followed by vortex classifieds.

looks like my rabbits evil, drug addicted twin.. LOL

your center heater vents in the dash are kinda cool, does your car have A/C?
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

The snowflakes would look great media blasted (I think they came partially painted black) and powdercoated, possibly all black.

Someone also told me they're the highest strength of stock VW alloy wheels for that era, couldn't remember what they were called.

I saw a very nice set in the junkyard a while back, it would have cost me $100 for all 4 and I passed it up, went back later to find them gone... regret it so much.

Snowflakes are the lightest (ultra light) - but not very strong.
They bend real easy on impacts.

Castlettes are probably the strongest alloy VW wheels.
They are Forged.

$100 for 4 undamaged Flakes is about half price.
