FS Almost complete turbo conversion kit
« on: March 17, 2011, 01:32:03 pm »
SOLD

This kit comes with just about everything you need. The only pieces that I am missing is the air box, and metal coolant line. A cone filter will work just fine or you can modify a digi2 air box etc. Also, the metal line is only needed if you are planning on using the stock oil cooler/heat exchanger or if your metal line does not have provisions for the cooler. I think you can use the metal line off a mk2 8v gasser. Pretty sure they are available new as well.

What you are buying:
1) T3 turbo - fair bit of shaft play up and down, no in and out. The wastegate looks a little rusty but it is still holding firm. Probably perfectly safe to run as-is at stock boost levels for quite sometime. No guarantees though. The turbines are not hitting the housing.
2) Downpipe. It's a MK2 style one and is very solid. I don't see any reason why you can't make this one work on a MK1. The bolts for the brace are very rusty, you may not be able to get them out and use the brace.
3) turbo to manifold bolts and intake manifold bolts
4) exhaust manifold
5) complete intake manifold
6) CCV hose
7) Intake hose
8) Boost hose
9) oil feed line
10) oil return line - pretty rusty, may leak
11) oil pan
12) oil filter flange stand
13) oil cooler with hoses. The hoses visually look ok but they are used. They are available new last I checked if you want to replace them.
14) MK2 rear motor mount (apparently they are different)
15) TD Valve cover with oil splash cover.

Please note that the exhaust manifold in the first picture is not the one included in the kit. The one in the second picture is.

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I have and can take detailed pictures of any of the parts.

I no longer have access to a wash tank so everything is very greasy and in need of a good cleaning before use.

I'm looking for $475 OBO

I will ship anywhere in the world although it gets spendy if we have to cross an ocean
