• Yes, it seems to be a diesel/AC combination thing. Went to the local boneyard today, found a few MK1 and Mk2 cars but all had the wrong type of pulley...

• I've never seen one of those either..   Now I'm gonna have to go rip some alt pulleys off and see what I find..  That's from your '84 Jetta???
