alright, ill get compression checked and see what happens next, still gonna do timming belt and such if its all good. clean up and piant.

timing belt is never a bad idea.. maybe some new cam/crank/im shaft seals while you are in there. and if you have the engine out of the car, then a new rear main seal isnt a bad idea either. along with a new clutch since you will be in there. (unless yours is still in really good shape) new set of glow plugs wouldnt even be a bad idea.. maybe even get your injectors serviced..
