are we talking about GT conventional turbos? or GT VNTs? cause all my info pertains to a VNT.. and in a mk1 chassis..

and the reason you hit 30 psi by 3 grand is cause the vaines are not opening far enough, and the turbo is overspooling.

I'm talking about a non-Vnt in a mk1 chassis.

Same here. A GT15 from a stock 98 Jetta 1z-AHU engine. Mine has a solenoid either vacuum or pressure controled.

92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Here is a pic of my turbo. You can see the wastegate actuator between the turbo and the block.
The actuator recieves pressure from the turbo to open the internal wastegate.

i really hope that intake tube is just for mock up purposes..

if you use billows hose like that, it will restrict the turbo so bad.. use as big of a feed for the turbo inlet as you POSSIBLY can.
