im running a set of NGK gps.. have been for a time now.. work fine for me. no blown off tips..

I wonder if I might have gotten a crap batch..  I always felt NGK stuff was pretty good, but three sets in 3 different cars (all purchased the same place the same day though) and they all failed in a few months..

The original NGK's in my tractor lived for 28 years of practically daily use..

The DuraTerms have gone up a little in past months across the board. And several places are still pushing old stock inventory of Bosch Fast plugs (Ahaus AZ for one).

(However - just bought another set on eBay for $9 each = 36 plus $7 shipping)

I've tested them right out of the box (always do - just to be sure - before installing) and they "seem" just a hair slower than the standard Bosch "Fast". As far as going full red/orange. But Bosch claims they work faster.

I would have to guess that abuse probably alters them just a little bit - but less than it would all other GP's on the market.

Here is other info from Bosch that is nice to know about Dterms:

Duraterm have a short preheat time, and a post heat time of 3 minutes. This is the optimum combination for fuel combustion.

Over the lifetime of the plug, the reduction of emissions and improvement in fuel economy can be substantial

Libby, could you share the part number with us to get DuraTerms from Autohaus AZ ?

I've tried 80010 and 0250201032 (also with 4N3 on end) and 3165143181768 ... all numbers from Duraterm box.
Also 85TD as application and 95 AAZ as application.
Always get 7second / Fast Plug results.

Have bought 5 sets in past 2 years.
Money that AhAZ could have had.
