Thanks for the info on the turbo guys.. I was pretty sure it was a Mitsu unit couldn't remember for sure.  IT does indeed have an annoying flange that would need dealt with.. I think that's why I chucked it in the corner ages ago..  That and my car has enough issues  with out adding more things to break.  ::)

The boss at the hotside end is drilled for EGR, or not for non EGR.

This one doesn't appear to be drilled...  I did forget to mention that two of the studs where the down pipe connects twisted off, but there's about a 1/4" still sticking out on them..

the manifold(known as 90+) is worth an easy $100 on www.turbobricks.com if it has no cracks(they show up where the runners come together at the back).

I can't see any cracks in this one, if you know someone who needs it send them around

Catlin, you're next in line for the strut bar. If Owen says no on the turbo you're up for it too..  Greedy Bugger  ;D

hustonr123, you 3rd in line for the turbo..  I guess I need to go back to the yard on crusher day and see if I can grab some more freebie turbos...

but that intercooler I might be very interested.
what are the dimensions of it?

I'm measuring this like a radiator;
 the core is about 19" wide x 17" tall x 1 3/8" thick
Tank to tank is about 23.5" but it gets wider at the top where the inlet and outlet is
overall width at it's widest point is 29.5"
 Inlet and outlet are 2.5"

let me take some measurements tomorrow in the light and I will get back to you on the intercooler, but it sounds like it will fit the bill perfectly.

any idea what it came out of?

I assume it came from the Volvo that I got the turbo from..  It was propped beside the car in the JY, and someone had just removed the radiator from it not 10 mins prior... Can't find any sort of markings on it though...

Looking back though I guess i neglected to mention this..  Although the core looks pretty decent, the "tanks" are plastic.... I'm going to guess this thing wasn't designed for crazy levels of boost..

yeah, it will only be seeing the boost from the turbocharger, not the total compounded boost(it will only be seeing 15-20PSI, and only at peak power)

so it should be fine...

15-20 psi may blow the tanks off it.. i never did with my plastic volvo intercooler, but its kinda the luck of the draw if you ask me..

Apologies to everyone whom Pmed me and I said I'd get prices to the other day and didn't..  Darn work anyhow... I'll hit up the post office tomorrow...

ROR the door handles came with no lock cyls.. They're made to swap you old ones into them.. They are cheapo though..   Don;t try to rip a frozen door open with them..  ::)
