The coating for bearings here isn't teflon, but some "slick coat" stuff that is sandable when cured as I understand, but still very slick. The main question I want to know is did you have the IM shaft bearings coated too? I wondered how that would end up if someone did.
OMG...that picture is sexy.damn near orgasmic!(if you ever sell one of your old compound setups, i want first chance.. i love your work.)
is there any particular reason you used ARROW shaped flame paths in the piston?or is that a secret? one of those "if i told you, i would have to kill you" type of things?LOVE reading about your work..
I have been very busy and I've beentrying to get projects completed. Wife's car should be ready to start up in a few weeks time. Still need to do some cooling and diesel lines.Waiting for dyno results as I know that it will be very fastSome time ago I did 1.9 tdi engines for two friends and got them tested on the dyno, at last engines were both 1.9TDI, another everyday car, and the other a bit more track-orientedhere is daily driver dynosheethttp://postimage.org/image/85x7vuwcn/and race carhttp://postimage.org/image/6ztogaril/
