Sadly I think my original setup with one turbo is harder to get at than this. I think the intake on AKI's would be easier to pull off then stock 1.6. It looks OK too  ;)

These are made for my customer and for myself I have planned something more massive.  ;)

been a little busy at work so I haven't had much time to build caddy. But something little I have done with the engine.

My job has unfortunately taken a lot time lately, so I have not been able to build caddy as much as I'd want.anyway, something little has been happening at least with the engine.
MJF asked about the capacity of the pump and indeed we did a few runs on a test bench. the basic capacity is 198cc and the maximumcapacity was a whopping 402cc so it seems to be a quite violent pump.It is not the purpose of this project to utilise the full potential of this pump, because it would mean close to 700hp.

the turbo policy is also starting to take shape. the idea is yet again to make low end powerwith mechanical charging and use the turbocharger for top end. I thought to try a centrifugal-type charger as the mechanical one and big turbo.

The turbo in the picture is scwitzer s300, but I will propably change it to s200 super. Anyway you get the idea
Big chargers = big power,no compromise   :)

Beautiful work Sir. I am curious though: with the heat of the compound set-ups; did you have to consider passive cooling (think WRX hood scoop) to force cold side air over the setup and out the bottom? Or will this even generate the amount of heat to worry about?

Cheers,
Andy
