The biggy will be made, Bell has the 675mm Scirocco radiator
I sent bell some pic's of the location of the outlet tubes based on the mk1 core support
Next the radiator will go to Flex-A-Lite for fitment of a slim dual puller fan , that will bolt on the radiator tab's ( fan side) for proper fit
I plan on making a fan decal for one of the switches ( jetta dash) to turn on the fan for random cooling of the I.C.
That is all

Some people need some chill pills. GEE BEE has some pretty sweet stuff and has added a ton of good information and help to this forum!
While those intercoolers are out of my price range (I've got an EMUSA 'cooler waiting to go into my car!), that's actually a good price for a *custom* US made intercooler. I don't think there are any doubts the quality and performance would far surpass and ebay unit
Keep posting, GEE BEE! While I may not be able to afford all the toys you post about, it's nice to have on this forum!

If you dont like it move on, If you have a item that is NLA or you dont want a piece of china( meyle ) mfg rubber assy please let me know?
Not all Meyle is Chinese, some of it is really good.
They are just another re-boxer the same as Topran, JP group, FeBi, Vaico et al.

The origin of the parts matters not, the quality control does.
A lot of Hella parts are made in China, but made to German standards with German material.
Admittedly some Meyle stuff is dog toss, the art is picking the good stuff and skipping the bad.

What you have to watch is the ambiguos origin on the box, some will say something like "Febi Germany" and some will say Febi, made in Germany"

I was refering to epdm rubber or the old aaz coolant hoses were one piece design , the new is three pieces of epdm rubber with a plastic T , with band clamp holding them on.
Junk, number one problem with vw today are the cracked coolant flanges or hose t' connectors leaking.
You get what you pay for...
I have made several varations of snorkel's and scirocco breathers that are no longer made
I wanted a MK1 snorkel for the K03 turbo inlet size , so I tooled it and now it can be mfg in either inlet
( T2/T3/K14 or the KO3 size
The radiator will be headed to Flex a lite to make a 2'5/8 thick x 26 long dual fan next
looking at 2500 cfm

he's just enthusiastic about this stuff, he has cool stuff, and he can make cool stuff, go him hes helping all of us how he can... and with our consumer base and aftermarket being fairly small its good to see someone doing that.

Bell has shipped the Intercooler to me attached to the new radiator I sent them for Mockup
They decided with a 2.25 thick x 22 Width x 6.4 height with upper 2' o.d outlet's
Iam going to take it off and install it on a new all metal radiator I found last week
I might fit a seal around the intercooler to radiator for better flow, I do hope the passat dual fan will provide the increase of pull of air into this assy
Bell has given me 30 days to pay and if i dont like it return for full credit
That is really good service
Cost was 619.00
picture coming the day it arrives

I'm one of the Scirocco people that thanked him for making stuff that you can't find anywhere else, and his prices are very good for said items. Actually, all of his silicone stuff is priced equal or lower than any competition pieces, if they even exist in the first place.
I can be jealous of GEE-BEE's resources, but really all I can do is work with what I've got and be grateful that people like GEE-BEE are making stuff for us.

GO GEE-BEE!
I love how people throw support for companies who offer us cheap stuff that is crap.. And make fun of the guy making quality stuff? If I get in to the riches, I'm gonna have one of the nicest 81 Jetta's you have ever seen

No new cars for me lol.

Since this isn't in the vendor section i will post this.
GEE-BEE's is the best of the best. The Roles Royce.
You want it to be PERFECT and the best it can be it's going to cost you.
That being said I did this today and it's a $75 intercooler from ebay (shipping included) with a $90 universal pipe kit i had to cut a few pieces to fit and it took about 2 hours. The turbo and intake silicone reducers are from Silicone intakes and i think they were $15 each or something like that. Under $20 each (shipping also included. one is a 45* and the other a 90*).
My intercooler is also identical to RadoTD's. We got them together.

As you can see from the pictures there are close clearances and I'll have to make a bracket or two to solidly mount the pipes to the subframe and to the alternator bracket to prevent the pulley from cutting through the pipe and to prevent the rad support from cutting through the pipe.
I also had to move the rad towards the passenger side about an inch.
GEE-BEE doesn't want to ralph around so he does it right the first time. He's got the cash to do so evidently.

Even this 2.25 wont fit unless the center core support is trimmed
Iam going to move the battery to a horizontial mount ( odessey) under the bed
Iam not happy with this , too big ( thick)
I want a 1.25 or 2.00 max

you told us a while back that they were gonna make it that thick for you, i was under the impression that they were gonna make you a THIN intercooler that you could run a condenser in front of. doesnt look like you can run a condenser on that thing without taking your grille out..
so, are you going to send it back, and have them build it like you wanted it the first time?
another down fall to a HUGE intercooler is the LAG it induces..
