Um, you have to  ::).
I blocked the drain in the head with an aluminum plug.
I blocked the coolant hole on the block with a chunck of rubber.
I'm pushing 30psi of boost, and it holding just fine.

I've been there as well.

Used a Hydro head on a solid block.

I welded up the coolant passage in the block and welded the hole in the head up.

Drilled the head and block for the extra AAZ coolant holes.

The AAZ head has the smaller steam holes already and its the block that you drill out.

Thats what I did.
