I have a "strange" k03 supposedly. I sent my turbine wheels off to midwestturboconnection to get them balanced and I purchased a new kit that was designed for a K03.
A week after shipping my parts out I get a call saying the nut from the rebuild kit is too big for the shaft, and they needed more information to find the correct nut. I gave them all I had, K03 part number I had gotten off the turbo designated the AAZ engine to one year/model car, the 95 Passat. They also said none of the other parts would work because the shaft is too small, and I got the feeling from talking to them over the phone that this was strange. I am not sure what the shaft diameter is but when I get it back in a week or so I will measure and post.

Midwest Turbo Connection couldn't source through Melett or Turbo International.
Maybe I should sell the parts on ebay and find a new turbo? I don't want a China turbo because it will just fall apart too fast.
