Compression Test Specifications for AAZ engine

Was curious what Bentley says the compression tests should show for a normal engine and the wear limit.

Okay, I found a haynes manual and it states

Minimum: 279psi
Deviation: <20% from the highest reading

These are numbers from a US TDI motor.  I figured the compresion ratio is the same in both 1.9L TD and TDI so the sompression test specs would be the same.

Let me know if this is incorrect.

The TDI is a very different engine design, so the specs are not transferable.

The AAZ specs (Bentley pg 15a-2) are:

new:  493 psi minimum
wear limit: 377 psi minimum
max difference between cylinders: 73 psi
