Does anyone know if the camshaft in a ALH(TDI 1.9) is the same as a AHU(TDI 1.9) cam?

I have a camshaft with a custom grind that works great in an ALH and I would like to put it in my AHU.

Typically you can use an ALH cam in an AHU\1Z application....you just cannot go the other way around....

I bet Dr. Diesel knows everything about the different TDI cams, and has specs for all of them.. just a guess tho..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

You can not use a AHU/1Z cam (or earlier) in a 1.6 because the timing slot on the ALH is used to drive the vacuum pump.

This graph Dr Diesel and I worked on shows the lift and duration of the ALH but nothing on the AHU or 1Z.

the alh can be swapped into the ahu from what I've read. Take a look here and other cam forsale threads on tdiclub and you will see similar info as found in this thread: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=295122

I've also read on vwdiesel.net's older cam debate thread about how the AZZ cam is an upgrade for the AHU
