CIS-L cars have no idle up adjustment..
only the CIS-E cars have that..
why do you feel the urge to replace everything? just fix the broken parts, and call the rest good.. there was only one style of heater box/evaporator that i know of. there are 2 different types of controls tho, cable operated, and vacuum operated. usually the a/c cars have vacuum operated heater boxes..
maybe you should diagnose whats wrong with yours first before you decide to buy 2000 dollars worth of replacement parts?
it probably had a small hole in the condenser, and needed a re-charge was all..
actually, the 85 cars may have had an idle up.. over by the fuel dizzy right next to the engines air intake pipe, there is a valve, with a wire going to it. i believe one of those may be the idle up.. i just remembered a/c cars have 2 valves over there.. my car only has one valve, that does nothing..
