sway bar link removal (softball question)
«

After changing my first ball joint and tie rod end I was just removing the sway bar link when I just got called in from the garage in order to "parent"
I only spent a few minutes on it, but it wasn't entirely clear how it was going to come off. I removed the nut and was able to pry the sway bar up to lift the link out of it's hole; but how do I get it off the sway bar itself? I just started reefing on it when I had to come in...but is that it? Rip it off, bang on the new one?

Yep. Yank, cut, pull, scrape.
I cut the bushing as much as possible and just kept pulling until it came off. Put a little K-Y on the new one and hammered it on with a socket.
