ok, so im stripping the 84 rabbit of all its turbo goodies and trading it off for a 90 Wolfsburg Jetta GLi 16v.. tornado red, straight body, stock BBS wheels, and oh yea, FULL RECARO interior!

but im getting rid of the rabbit because i dont fit in it.. its just too little inside. knees go to the dash.
a nice 16v jetta is hard to find, but so is a Nice diesel rabbit, diesel rabbits are easy to find but not in good condition
but i have a 81 2dr diesel rabbit and a spare parts car (also an 81 2 dr) so its not like im getting rid of all rabbits, just the ones i dont comfortably fit in..
and its a really nice looking car. im gonna try and go look at it today so i can know how much i want to commit to this..

What's the matter with motronic? I'm pretty familiar with 1.1 and 1.3 versions; while not hugely tunable the available chips give a nice boost in performance.

im keeping the turbo setup. its taken me years to get my turbo setup to what it is today, and for what VNT's are worth, i doubt you wanna pay what i want for it. i dont wanna get rid of it super bad anyway..

why is motronic so bad? its not like its a digifant equipped car..
if it has problems beyond my mechanical knowledge, i will put my 45mm webers on it..
