86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

Nevermind, I didn't move fast enough.. It was posted on Craigslist at 5pm..  I found and emailed at 6:30pm.. THe guy mailed me back right away and left me know he had someone coming to look at 8pm..  9pm I got that sad response that it was sold..

It was really *THAT* good.. The poop:

1983 Corolla Diesel..  One owner, parked in a shed since 1995 with 105K  Next to no rust, but a fair amount of mouse damage (wiring upolstery etc) $500 near Allentown Pa..

Can we get a "DARN IT!"

DARN IT!  A friend of mine thinks he has a line on an '82 Toyota Hilux diesel truck with less than 100K miles.  I think someone has to die first, though.

I have a couple of old early 80's books on the assortment of diesels available and basic maintenance.  In some ways it's too bad VW and MB became so dominant in the US market- there seem to have been some pretty good designs out there.

Isn't that the truck that they did all those things to it on Top Gear (like drop it off a building and put it underwater) and it still runs...

dropping it off a building and driving it under water are not things that burn up valves and pre chambers. but people that actually use the trucks as a truck, then they sometimes burn them down.. ive seen it more than a few times..
