So i made a transaction with a local that had a 1.6 turbo diesel. He subsequently had his car backed into, so the car was rendered written off.
he started selling his parts off, which resulted in a giles performance pump [which I was too late on bidding on] H&R cup kit [which i chose to decline, since i want Koni Coils] and a Passenger Performance made 2.5" downpipe and custom 2.5" exhaust with straight flow muffler.
Having driven my car and having it running super smooth at the moment, I am a little patient with installation on the exhaust simply because i want to work on the suspension at the same time, replace bushings with poly replacements, and install coil overs. All at once makes it a better combination.
So, without any other engines modifications done to the car, and knowing it will run better with the exhaust....the true question is...how much more efficient will it run?

Better flow and quicker spool up of the turbo. Also a lot louder
that's a good enough answer for me.
as long as the power is applied quicker, i'm going to be a lot happier of a person.
No actual increase in power to the road... until you put some wheels/tires on that Jetta! lol

HAH, that's not my car, I have a T.Red Turbo Diesel. That was the picture that was given to me prior to the exhaust sitting in my garage.
because the unit is one piece, and i also want to upgrade my suspension first, i am debating on holding off to install it till i redo the bushings and install some koni coils on the car. Might as well since everything towards the rear of the car is going to be dropped.
however. because it is running and driving at the moment, i could do both at later times.
